The Hold Me Tight® Program is Now Interactive & Online

A Welcome Letter From LACEFT

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Los Angeles Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy (LACEFT). Our conferences and training programs are all designed to support the growing EFT community in Los Angeles. We host ICEEFT Certified Trainers from all over the country and extend special rates to our LACEFT members, as well as to early registrants and students. Most of our programs allow for participants to earn Continuing Education credits. We also provide informational talks to local universities and provide networking opportunities for our community.

LACEFT is approved by the American Psychological Association (provider #41025550) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. LACEFT is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (provider #131253) to sponsor continuing education for LMFT’s, LCSW’s and LPC’s. LACEFT maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

To learn more about our upcoming programs, simply click on any of the above banner images, or view our online Events Calendar. If you’re interested in joining our supportive community of therapists, please visit our Membership Page. If you’re new to EFT and looking to begin your training, visit our Training tab to learn about EFT externships, EFT Core Skills Training, and local EFT Supervisors and Trainers.

Additionally, for couples seeking relationship counseling, LACEFT maintains a therapist directory of Certified EFT therapists in the Greater Los Angeles Area. We also catalog local Hold Me Tight® (HMT) Workshops. The HMT® Workshop was developed by Dr. Sue Johnson and is designed around seven conversations based on the Hold Me Tight book, all of which have been shown to be essential to successful relations. Indeed, this program has become so invaluable that it’s now available online and its principles are being applied to families. To learn more, visit our Hold Me Tight® page.

Thank you again for taking the time to visit our website. For questions and general inquiries, please e-mail us at contact@laceft.org.

We look forward to seeing you in the community soon,
